Jaynes of California Breaks Ground on Broadway Pier Cruise Ship Terminal

August 05 2009 - Jaynes Corporation of California breaks ground on the Broadway Pier cruise ship terminal project.

The ground breaking ceremony was held on Tuesday, August 4th. Ceremonial concrete slabs were broken by sledgehammers held by the Port of San Diego Board of Port Commissioners, cruise line and other officials from throughout the region.

The new cruise ship terminal is designed to be a LEED silver certified building. It will be energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

The completion date for the $21+M project is scheduled for late 2010.
