Mirabelli Community Center earns award

April 16 2008 - Mirabelli Community Center was awarded the Elmer H. Anderson Park Excellence Award by the Nevada Recreation and Park Society at the NRPS conference April 15, 2008.

Mirabelli Community Center was awarded the Elmer H. Anderson Park Excellence Award by the Nevada Recreation and Park Society at the NRPS conference April 15, 2008. The purpose of these awards is to recognize excellence in park and recreational facility planning and design throughout the State of Nevada.
Opened in February of 2006 the 32,000 square foot community center replaced a 40 year old 8,000 square foot building. The new building includes a full size basketball court, gymnastics area, dance studio, a weight room, game rooms, pre-school, kitchen and a multi-purpose room.
