Jaynes Corporation was awarded the design/build contract for the McKinley County Juvenile Detention Center project. The new 21,000 square foot facility consists of a single story and two-story structure. The multi-million dollar project is scheduled to break ground in April 2009 and is scheduled to be completed in winter 2009.


 

Jaynes Awarded with the McKinley County Law Enforcement Building Project

March 13 2009

Jaynes Corporation was awarded the design/build contract for the McKinley County Law Enforcement Building project. The new 22,435 square foot joint facility will house the Gallup Police Department and McKinley County Sheriff’s Department. The multi-million dollar project broke ground on March 11, 2009 and is scheduled to be completed in February 2010.


 

Global Structures Awarded T’iistoh Mini-Mart Project

Global Structures was awarded the design/build contract for the T’iistsoh Mini-Mart project. The T’iistsoh Mini-Mart is a 6,019 square foot convenience store and laundromat facility located in Alamo, New Mexico. The project broke ground on January 15, 2009 and is scheduled to be completed in May 2009.

Diné College Shiprock Library Project Awarded to Jaynes

Jaynes Corporation was awarded the design/build contract for the Diné College Shiprock Library project, a public-access library at Diné College main New Mexico Campus. The new 20,000 square foot building will be a community educational facility that will improve and benefit the local Shiprock population and residents of northwestern New Mexico.

Mark Harwell, Regional Safety Director for New Mexico/Colorado, earned the Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) professional designation in Construction. Jaynes is the first general contractor in New Mexico to have one of their staff members earn this distinguished designation.


 

Las Cruces Regional Recreation and Aquatics Center Groundbreaking

Jaynes Corporation broke ground on the Las Cruces Regional Recreation and Aquatics Center on December 11th. The new 35,000 square foot facility has state of the art swimming pool technology and is scheduled for completion by summer 2010.


 

UNM College of Education Groundbreaking

November 20 2008

The design/build contract for the University of New Mexico College of Education classroom and administration building was awarded to Jaynes Corporation. The ground breaking was on Friday, November 21st. The new 26,000 square foot facility is located in the heart of the University of New Mexico campus. The completion date for the multi million dollar project is scheduled for winter 2010.


 

Fort Bayard Medical Center Groundbreaking

October 28 2008

Jaynes Corporation was recently awarded the Design/Build Contract for the Fort Bayard Medical Center. The new 137,000 square foot facility, located in Bayard, New Mexico, near Silver City, will replace the existing medical facility, which was built in the early 1900’s. The completion date for the multi-million dollar project is scheduled for Summer 2010.
