San Diego | Jaynes Corp | Government Upon failure of the original contractor, Jaynes was awarded the “takeover construction contract” to complete this 9,000 SF, 1-story, 2-bay fire station that accommodates 1 fire engine & paramedic/rescue company with living space for an around-the-clock staff of 4 personnel. The fire station has the capacity to add an additional 2-person paramedic/rescue squad. The facility includes 6 dormitories, shower/toilet rooms, laundry, kitchen, dayroom, workout facilities, public lobby and exterior patio with barbeque. Project features include vehicle exhaust removal system, facilities/equipment for drying and storing fire hoses and all new utility services for the building. |
