The renovated facility provides UNM Lobo basketball teams with a new practice facility that only a few of the top echelon programs have in the country. The facility will be available 24 hours a day to the student-athletes and allow both programs to make more use of practice time and allow them more flexibility in scheduling practices. It will also serve as a great recruiting tool and media workroom for upcoming NCAA basketball tournaments, including the 2006 women's Albuquerque Regional tournament.
