Educational Facility
The Educational Cultural Complex expansion, known as the Skills Center, was designed with strong community involvement in 1972. Reflecting the original design and with respect to the neighborhood, the addition continues the current park-like feel of the existing structure and site, breathing new life into an area of town that has experienced few opportunities for growth.
The project consists of the construction of three 1-story buildings totaling 67,000 SF: three auto repair canopies and adjacent hardscaping. The three canopies will house state-of-the-art auto body and automobile repair program, as well as the graphics, appliance repair, electronic assembly, office skills, and computer network cabling programs. LEED Certified.
