The Southwestern Community College Higher Education Center, a $5 million building of approximately 19,500 square feet, is completed in San Ysidro, California.
Work includes demolition of the existing site improvements, remodeling the parking lot, new landscape and hardscape, and construction of two new classroom facilities.
The project is being constructed on the site of the San Ysidro McDonald’s Massacre, which occurred in 1984. Jaynes is proud to play a positive role in what is an otherwise tragic site with an educational center that will enrich the surrounding community.
