This project involved construction of a 63,000 SF, steel-framed, Army Reserve Center and 24,000 SF pre-engineered Unit Storage Building for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) features were designed and constructed to keep maximum standoff distances from roads, parking areas, and vehicle unloading areas. Berms, heavy landscaping, guard rails and bollards prevent access when standoff distances cannot be maintained. The project scope included the demolition of three existing buildings, site/building concrete, landscaping and exterior masonry walls. This is a LEED Silver facility.
