One of the high lights each year is the Jaynes sponsored 12 Hours of Mesa Verde Mountain Bike Race. It’s a premier cycling event organized by volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of youth in Southwest Colorado. Since its inception in 2003, 12 Hours of Mesa Verde has raised more than $350,000 for youth at-risk in Montezuma County, Colorado.
Jaynes is proud to partner with the Durango Makerlab, a space devoted to teaching the art and science of new creative tech.
A trio of high school students teamed up to research tiny homes and plan one. Jaynes helped fund the project to bring it into reality.
Jaynes donated funds to Village Aid, a volunteer group dedicated to bringing clean water and sanitation solutions to underdeveloped nations.
Jaynes is a major donor to the KSUT Public Radio’s capital campaign to build a new, state-of-the-art station in Ignacio, Colorado. KSUT recently received a $1M matching donation from the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. The clock is ticking on the match, which will come due October 1, 2018.
