WINNER OF THE 2010 NAIOP NEW MEXICO AWARD OF EXCELLENCE FOR A RESIDENTIAL PROJECT

Serving as a mixed use and sustainable “green” environment for tenants, this facility has become a staple project for Jaynes Special Projects Group. Some of the highlights of this facility include the seventy-two residential efficiency apartments, seven offices, a conference room, multi-purpose room, reception area, lobby and a café. The Supportive Housing Coalition occupies offices on the first floor.

‍

This building is a sustainable project and exceeds mandatory criteria for green design under the Enterprise Green Communities Program. Special systems included in this project are a greywater system, which takes water from vanities and showers, runs it through a filtration system, and recycles it for use in the toilets. There is a solar system consisting of eighty-eight rooftop panels that heat water and provide forced air heating for the building as well as a rain water harvest system including two 2900 gallon cisterns to collect rain water that will then be used for landscaping.

Operating in the southwest

Eighty years is more than a milestone. It’s a testament to the resilience and craftsmanship of generations of Jaynes employees. It’s also a testament to the Jaynes community in the Southwest. Since 1946, Jaynes has built more than structures; we’ve built schools where futures begin, hospitals where healing takes place, and workplaces that drive innovation. Most meaningfully, Jaynes has built lasting relationships with owners, communities, and each other. This defines the Jaynes Way.
