Durango
Since 1997, Jaynes’ local Durango office has worked with communities in Colorado. As a 100% employee-owned company, we approach every project with a personal stake in the outcome and a responsibility to the Colorado communities where Jaynes employees live and work.
Construction is our craft. Jaynes combines local relationships with the knowledge, field leadership, and technical capabilities developed across 80 years of building throughout the Southwest. From education and healthcare to civic, commercial, hospitality, recreation, and retail facilities, our teams help owners reduce risk, evaluate options, and make informed project decisions.
Through thoughtful preconstruction planning, experienced field management, self-perform capabilities, and sustainable construction practices, we partner with owners to create efficient, durable facilities suited to Colorado’s climate, communities, and long-term needs.
Durango and Southwest Colorado are places where Jaynes employee-owners have built careers, trusted relationships, and community landmarks. We support education, workforce development, local organizations, and community initiatives because strong places depend on opportunity, connection, and investment.
Jaynes’ Colorado portfolio reflects the region's diversity. At Fort Lewis College, our work includes the Student Life Center and Sitter Family Hall. The Animas High School campus supports collaborative, hands-on learning, while the multiphase Mancos Schools project renewed an active K-12 campus. The Montezuma County Combined Courthouse strengthened regional civic infrastructure. Commercial projects such as Osprey Packs Base Camp and Honeyville demonstrate our ability to translate an organization’s identity and operational needs into a lasting facility. Together, these projects show Jaynes’ commitment to building Colorado communities for the long term.
