
Jaynes Wins Multiple AGC NM Best Buildings Awards
The 2025 AGC New Mexico Best Buildings Awards Gala took place recently at the beautiful Sandia Resort & Casino. This annual event celebrates the outstanding achievements of New Mexico’s commercial construction industry, recognizing excellence, innovation, and leadership across various award categories. The festivities spotlight how our industry shapes the future of our state.
The proceeds from the awards event benefits the New Mexico Building Education Foundation (NMBEF). The NMBEF is a non-profit education foundation affiliated with the Associated General Contractors of New Mexico. It focuses on linking education, workforce, and economic development assets for the commercial construction industry.
Jaynes won as General Contractor in two categories and was involved in a third as a subcontractor:

The Santa Fe County RECC
Santa Fe County Regional Emergency Communications Center (RECC) represents the continued, successful Design-Build relationship between Jaynes Corporation, Studio Southwest Architects, and Owner Santa Fe County.
RECC is the professional home to the frontline personnel responsible for dispatching multiple first responders and public safety agencies across a wide geographical area — six counties and municipalities in northern New Mexico.
The RECC project was also awarded the 2024 Eagle Award of Excellence in the Civic Project category by NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.

Congratulations to the Jaynes Team on the Pueblo of Sandia Fire Station 39: Stetson Chandler, Ernesto Rodriguez, and Jorge Bolivar.

The Pueblo of Sandia Fire Station 39
The Pueblo of Sandia Tribal Council commissioned the region’s first new emergency services facility in over 15 years. Jaynes collaborated with the architect Vigil & Associates on the thoroughly modern Fire and Emergency Medical Services station, officially named Pueblo of Sandia Station 39. Station 39 delivers improved emergency response times to the Pueblo and the region, enhanced fire protection and medical services, and is part of a larger strategy to create the necessary infrastructure for more residential, commercial, and industrial development. It also increases the safety and well-being of all citizens in the area.
