Chief Financial Officer

Jennifer joined Jaynes in 2013 as a Controller and was later promoted to Vice President of Finance. She is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in commercial construction financial management. Before Jaynes, she was Controller and later VP of Finance for a large commercial general contractor for over 13 years. Jennifer graduated from the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She’s also a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

She has served as President, VP, treasurer and board member of the Albuquerque chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association, and won the Associated General Contractors of America Business Professional of the Year award in 2015. As CFO, Jennifer Deal oversees Jaynes’s financial backbone—from accounting and reporting to strategic planning, ESOP stewardship, and executive leadership. Her work ensures the firm remains financially disciplined, strategically agile, and aligned with its mission of employee ownership and sustainable growth.
