Our Special Projects Group (SPG) combines the agility and specialization of a small construction company with the training, experience, and commitment to excellence that has become synonymous with Jaynes.
SMALL PROJECTS REQUIRE THEIR OWN EXPERTISE.
SPG handles new construction and renovation for several types of projects:
- Single-family housing
- Senior living facilities
- Hotels and hospitality
- Light commercial and wood-frame construction
- Renovations and remodels
Each project is handled by a hand-picked crew of Jaynes superintendents, workmen, and trusted subcontractors. All SPG members are trained to our standards of safety and quality.

Elite Well Services
This design build project consisted of the construction of 10 structures on a 22 acre site. Structures installed on this large jobsite include an office building, acid terminal, vehicle maintenance building, sand and cement storage and two separate outdoor chemical storage buildings.

American Tire Warehouse Expansion
This was a 47,000 square foot warehouse addition that includes 3,000 square feet of office space in NE Albuquerque for a wholesale tire distributor. We built the original building in 1989 and were able to continue growing with American Tire through the new facility.

HME Specialists Office Building
This project consisted of a new two-story CMU and structural steel office and warehouse building. The building sits on a three-acre site, has 15,000 SF of office space with another 20,000 SF of warehouse space constructed primarily of CMU.
Eighty years is more than a milestone. It’s a testament to the resilience and craftsmanship of generations of Jaynes employees. It’s also a testament to the Jaynes community in the Southwest. Since 1946, Jaynes has built more than structures; we’ve built schools where futures begin, hospitals where healing takes place, and workplaces that drive innovation.
