In, Out, Up, Down: The Jaynes Way
By: Shad James
Our strategy is built upon four cornerstones: reaching in (operational excellence), reaching out (client focus), reaching up (redemptive innovation), and reaching down (leadership development)
There’s a great image of a military training exercise. To get over a wall takes teamwork. One soldier, already at the top, reaches down to lift up the next guy. Somebody else offers a boost from below. At Jaynes, we’re always looking for somebody to reach toward.
We reach into our company to perform with excellence. Nobody at Jaynes hangs out on the sidelines hoping not to get noticed.
We reach out to our owners, remaining focused on those we work for and looking for ways to bring them in as part of the Jaynes community.
We reach up for better ways to do what we already do. You don’t have to be Tesla or Google to improve. We look for ways to make construction better in our everyday work.
And we reach down to whoever will do this job long after we’re gone. We mentor, teach, and encourage the next guy.
Don’t just stand there…reach.
