Jaynes Corporation 100 Days of Summer 2026

Jaynes’ Safety Outreach Tour ’26: 100 Days of Summer & Reinforcing That Safety Brings You Home

Each year, as summer approaches and construction activity accelerates, Jaynes Corporation launches one of its most meaningful initiatives. 100 Days of Summer.

More than a seasonal campaign, it’s a company-wide recommitment to the values that define Jaynes, Safety, Quality, and Production, with one message leading the way: Safety Brings You Home.

Jaynes’ Commitment to Safety Tour 2026: 100 Days of Summer

The program begins with a leadership tour across jobsites throughout New Mexico, bringing the CEO, management team, executives, project teams, and field crews together for direct, face-to-face conversations about safety and performance.

Work stops. Crews huddle. Safety conversations happen.

These moments are intentional. They create space to reinforce expectations, surface challenges, and align on what matters most before the busiest stretch of the construction season begins.

Meet Executive Vice President Operations Greg Krause.

It’s a simple but powerful approach: stop, talk, listen, and refocus.

As Greg Krause, Jaynes Executive Vice President Operations, puts it:

“100 Days of Summer is about getting everyone aligned before the pace picks up. When we take the time to stand down, have real conversations, and listen to our teams, we strengthen the culture that keeps people safe, not just policies or procedures, but shared accountability and responsibility.”

Why Summer Matters

Summer represents peak construction activity, and with it, increased risk.

Longer days, rising temperatures, tighter schedules, and more complex coordination all add strain to teams and systems. These conditions can elevate exposure to hazards if focus slips, even momentarily.

That’s why the timing of  100 Days of Summer is deliberate.

It creates a structured reset at exactly the point when teams need it most, ensuring safety remains front of mind as workloads intensify.

From Safety Message to Safety Mindset

What distinguishes 100 Days of Summer is its emphasis on engagement over enforcement.

Rather than relying solely on top-down directives, the program fosters dialogue. Field teams are encouraged to speak up, ask questions, and share real-world experiences. Leadership doesn’t just deliver messages, they listen, respond, and adapt.

This dynamic builds a real-time knowledge base, builds trust, and strengthens alignment across every level of the organization.

It reinforces a fundamental belief at Jaynes that safety is not a checklist. It’s a mindset.

Connecting Safety to Work & Home

“Safety Brings You Home” is more than a slogan. It’s a reflection of the responsibility carried by every Jaynes employee and project partner on a Jaynes jobsite.

Construction remains one of the most hazardous industries in the United States, with more than 1,000 fatalities reported annually this decade. That reality underscores the importance of keeping safety personal, visible, and constant.

At Jaynes, safety doesn’t end when the workday does. It extends beyond the jobsite, to families, to communities, and to everyday life.

The message is clear. Decisions made on-site have real impacts far beyond it.

Reinforcing Jaynes’ Evolving & Award-Winning Culture

Programs like 100 Days of Summer don’t exist in isolation, they are a reflection of a broader, deeply embedded safety culture that has earned recognition across the industry.

By creating consistent touchpoints for communication, accountability, and engagement, Jaynes ensures that safety is not just maintained but continuously strengthened.

It’s not about reacting to risk; it’s about proactively shaping behavior, awareness, and ownership.

Building a Safer Future

At its core, 100 Days of Summer is about momentum.

It’s about aligning teams before the most demanding part of the year, reinforcing expectations, and building habits that carry forward long after summer ends.

Because at Jaynes, success isn’t measured only by the buildings completed, it’s measured by the people who build them.

And ensuring that every one of them returns home safely, every day.
