Eighties Video Gamers Unite

All eighties Video Gamers unite! In its third year, Parade of Playhouses pairs design teams and general contractors and assigns the teams with different categories. This year, with Dekker/Perich/Sabatini, we will be building an eighties video game themed playhouse.

Los Miniones

We changed our building materials for a good cause. After 2,976 cans, the Jaynes and Dekker/Perich/Sabatini team completed Los Miniones sculpture for Canstruction 2016. The team worked to balance the old and the new by creating a scene where Minions, made famous by Despicable Me, were watching Steamboat Willie.

Jaynes Safety Nationally Recognized

June 22, 2016
Jaynes won its second safety award from the Associated General Contractors of America, ranking among the 37 safest construction companies for 2015. Jaynes won the AGC’s Willis Construction Safety Excellence Award in the building construction category for mid-sized companies with 450,000-650,000 work-hours. Jaynes also won the award 2012, which was the last year it was eligible to submit an entry.

NM Appleseed Playhouse

Jaynes Corporation partnered with Dekker/Perich/Sabatini and New Mexico Appleseed on a fundraising project to create playhouses that were auctioned off at an event named “Parade of Playhouses.” Other local architects, builders, and designers also participated in this effort.

Elementary Student Finds Motivation in Construction

On November 13th, we had a groundbreaking ceremony at the Aspen Elementary School job site. We had the silver shovels and new Jaynes hard hats all ready for the 1, 2, 3 toss some dirt picture. You know – the one where everyone lines up and takes a scoop of dirt and we call it a groundbreaking! Well, as you might have guessed, this one was not much different than any other groundbreaking ceremony that Jaynes has been a part of. Only one difference!
