CSV Sterile Processing Addition

The CVS Sterile Processing Addition project involved the construction of a 5,196 square foot, two-story building addition dedicated to establishing a sterile processing department adjacent to an existing surgical services building. Meticulous planning encompassed not only the construction of new building sections but also the seamless integration with the existing structure. Jaynes Structures, Inc. self-performed concrete work, including trenching, excavation, and the installation of reinforcing steel. Additionally, casework installation for chapel wall protection further enhanced the functionality and safety of the facility.

By establishing a dedicated sterile processing department, the final addition prioritizes patient safety and care quality by ensuring the efficient and safe sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment, a critical aspect of infection prevention and patient care standards. The completion of this addition also contributes to the overall well-being and trust of the community in healthcare services.
