Pinon Elementary – Los Alamos Public School (CMAR)

The Piñon Elementary School project in White Rock, completed by Jaynes Corporation in 2025, resulted in a modern, 62,000-square-foot educational facility serving grades Pre-K through 5 for Owner Los Alamos Public Schools.

The new campus features state-of-the-art classrooms, a library, a full-service kitchen, staff offices, and an improved gymnasium accessible for both school and community use. Outdoor amenities include separate playgrounds for younger and older students, a turf athletic field, multiple basketball courts, an amphitheater, and updated landscaping. Infrastructure improvements addressed drainage, utilities, site security, lighting, and safe circulation with designated drop-off and bus lanes.

Designed by Dekker, the building replaced outdated structures and brought the campus up to modern codes and educational standards. Jaynes Corporation handled construction management and major concrete work, ensuring the project was completed ahead of the 2025 school year.
