Pueblo of Sandia – Childhood Development Center

The Pueblo of Sandia Child Development Center, completed by Jaynes Corporation in 2025, is a facility dedicated to early childhood education and care for children aged six weeks to five years. The project, owned by the Pueblo of Sandia, aims to expand and enhance educational services for tribal families while supporting working parents with quality childcare. The facility offers comprehensive early learning programs that are aligned with community values and cultural responsiveness, fostering safe and nurturing environments for child development.

The project architect was SMPC Architects, who helped design the center to meet both educational and cultural goals. Funded through federal Economic Development Initiative grants, the construction underwent an environmental review, confirming that it would have no significant impact on the local environment. Jaynes Corporation, as the general contractor, leveraged its local expertise to deliver a modern, functional center tailored to the needs of the Pueblo community.
