FMS Systems Upgrades Parent Project
The FMS Systems Upgrade Parent Project encompasses comprehensive upgrades across three schools within the Farmington Municipal Schools district. At Apache ES, the scope involves HVAC upgrades including 35 new makeup air units serving classroom and administrative spaces, alongside a new air handling unit for the gymnasium area. Additionally, new PVC and TPO roofing will be installed for a portion of the existing school. Bluffview ES will undergo HVAC upgrades, featuring 24 new makeup air units and 6 new air handling units for classrooms and administrative spaces, along with a staff restroom renovation and new PVC roofing for the library, gym, and kitchen/dining areas. McCormick ES will see HVAC upgrades with 4 new makeup air units for classrooms, a new air handling unit for the gymnasium area, and a student restroom renovation.
The project aims to enhance indoor air quality, thermal comfort, and energy efficiency in the schools, providing a conducive learning environment for students and staff. Additionally, the upgrades will contribute to the longevity of the schools, ensuring a sustainable infrastructure for future generations.
Jaynes Structures Inc. will undertake self-perform work including rough carpentry for new re-roofing scopes, wood structural reinforcement, and bathroom accessory installation.
